Player Power Rankings: New York Giants
Peyton who?
The Giants Power Rankings this week have Eli Manning appearing in the top spot.
Dropped out of the Top-10: N/A
Welcome to the club: N/A

1) Eli Manning (QB) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: Manning will never get the respect he deserves, and that's just fine with him. He enjoys when people doubt him or refer to him as a fluke — it gives him all the motivation he needs to keep winning.
2) Plaxico Burress (WR) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: Burress is healthy and has a new contract, so watch out! The Giants' leading WR added another five receptions, 81 yards and one TD to his long and impressive resume in Sunday's win over St. Louis.
3) Justin Tuck (DE) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: No Michael Strahan, no Osi Umenyiora, no problem. The one Troy Aikman and Joe Buck once referred to as "Jason" is slowly establishing himself as a household name. And if he continues to play like he has, a defensive MVP award may soon be in the cards.
4) Brandon Jacobs (RB) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: Jacobs is an absolute monster ... what else can you say? He's as big as an offensive lineman, hits like a linebacker and can still break one like an elusive running back. He's the perfect combination of size, speed and overwhelming strength ... and I'm glad he wears blue.
5) Jeff Feagles (P) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: If you're a casual NFL fan, you probably think I am crazy for putting a punter in the top five. However, if you're a Giants fan, you're probably glad to see Feagles getting the respect he deserves. Not only is the 42-year-old the most underrated punter in the NFL, he's also an important asset on field goals. He's saved the Giants many-a-time, including on a high snap in Sunday's game.
6) Fred Robbins (DT) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: Fabulous Freddy Robbins was at it again on Sunday, and like his teammate Jeff Feagles, continues to fly under the NFL radar. And while his partner Barry Cofield is climbing up the defensive tackle rankings himself, you could make an argument that Robbins is one of the best in the NFL.
7) Corey Webster (CB) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: If not for his breakout performance in last year’s playoffs, Corey Webster might have been packing groceries right about now. Instead, he earned a starting spot on the Giants roster and has not looked back. In two consecutive weeks he's helped shut down Santana Moss and Torry Holt, which is no easy task.
8) Domenik Hixon (WR/PR) Previous Ranking: No. N/A
Notes: As long as we're talking about underrated players, how about Domenik Hixon? Once he got over his nightmares about the hit on Kevin Everett, his career has taken an impressive turn. Suddenly this unheard-of special teamer has turned into the silent assassin. Not only is he electrifying on special teams, but he's a more than capable WR for Eli Manning to target.
9) Derrick Ward (RB) Previous Ranking: N/A
Notes: With Brandon Jacobs commanding all of the attention, running back Derrick Ward has repeatedly slid in under the radar and done some serious damage. People forget that in Jacobs’ absence last year, Ward put up some rather impressive numbers. Well, this year has been no different. Ward is averaging over 5.5 yards per carry and will continue to receive plenty of opportunities.
10) Shaun O'Hara (OL) Previous Ranking: No. N/A
Notes: It’s hard to pick one player from the Giants offensive line to put on this list since they all deserve to be here, but Shaun O’Hara has been the most consistent over the first two weeks. Not only has he done a fantastic job in both the running and passing games, but he’s also avoided the costly penalty.
