Liberty players shine in Europe

Previously, we brought you up to speed on what's been happening in our players overseas seasons.
The following is a recap for the games played during the week of October 20:
In a starting role, Megan Duffy scored 18 points with two rebounds for MBK in Slovakia, despite the team falling to KSSE AZS-PWSZ Gorzow 82-76.
Erlana Larkins knocked out her first win overseas while scoring eight points and logging 21 minutes as Samsun routed Minnesota's Semoine Augustus and Galatasaray. The rookie out of UNC later in the week recorded her first double-double with 22 points and 18 rebounds in the team's first loss.
With four points and three assists, Loree Moore's Chevakata topped Lemminkainen 94-72.
Shameka Christon's club suffered another loss – this time at the hands of Halcon Avenida, while she netted 18 points, handed out six assists and collected three boards.
For the second consecutive game, Cathrine Kraayeveld scored 20 points. Kraayeveld's Broker Kosice topped the Fever's Tammy Sutton-Brown's Fenerbahce, 76-68, as the Liberty forward grabbed eight rebounds with one assist.
The week also matched Janel McCarville (Russia) against Essence Carson (Latvia), as CSKA Moscow beat TTT Riga, 89-48. Despite the loss, Carson posted 12 points, pulled down five rebounds, dished out two assists and collected one steal. Coming off the bench, McCarville notched seven points, with two rebounds, one steal and one assist in 19 minutes.
