| 1) Leon Washington (KR/RB) Previous Ranking: No. 8 | |
| Notes: Leon's set for an ESPN pre-game feature in three weeks. They only have those for good players. | |
| 2) Thomas Jones (RB) Previous Ranking: No. 1 | |
| Notes: Seriously, who knew Jones was actually this good? He was always solid. But chugging out 100 yards a game routinely? I would say he's a "secret weapon," but I guess the secret's out. As always, I'm late to the table. | |
| 3) Eric Barton (LB) Previous Ranking: No. 3 | |
| Notes: I think Barton was involved in every single play last Thursday. Seriously, how can a guy find himself in the middle of that many plays? | |
| 4) Kris Jenkins (NT) Previous Ranking: N/A | |
| Notes: Everyone who knows football, a lot better than I do, swears up and down that Jenkins is the reason the Jets' D is so good. Like Eurythmics asked, "Who am I to disagree?" The Pats couldn't run at all and Jenkins was the man responsible for that. | |
| 5) Brett Favre (QB) Previous Ranking: No. 5 | |
| Notes: Brett Favre, Game Manager, Brett Favre, guy who throws interceptions all the time while pretending he's a "gunslinger." | |
| 6) Jerricho Cotchery (WR) Previous Ranking: N/A | |
| Notes: I could watch this all day long. | |
| 7) Dustin Keller (TE) Previous Ranking: No. 4 | |
| Notes: He's come alive! This is the second game in a row Dustin's been making grabs over the middle. Kids grow up so fast these days. | |
| 8) Abram Elam (S) Previous Ranking: No. 2 | |
| Notes: Elam was involved a lot last week. That is probably because the Pats threw for like 400 yards, but Elam was there to stop a lot of plays from being bigger plays. | |
| 9) Jay Feely (K) Previous Ranking: No. 10 | |
| Notes: Game-winning kicks automatically get you in the Top-10. | |
| 10) Laveranues Coles Previous Ranking: N/A | |
| Notes: Lav was quiet and unspectacular on Thursday, but that's not a bad thing. Although I think Lav wishes he was loud and spectacular. |
