Top Recruit Coming to Seton Hall
Kane gives verbal commitment to Bobby Gonzalez
Posted on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 7:07 PMMSG.com has learned that Seton Hall's basketball program has received a verbal commitment today from shooting guard DeAndre Kane of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Kane (6-foot-2, 190 lbs.) led Pittsburgh Schenley to a State Championship as a junior and a Pittsburgh City League Championship as a senior. He had received offers from Pittsburgh, Marquette and other top programs. But decided, after his visit to Seton Hall, to play for Bobby Gonzalez next season.
He currently plays at The Patterson School in North Carolina.
