Speedy Wideout Robenson Alexis to Transfer from Rutgers

Posted on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 2:35 PMMSG.com has learned that sophomore WR/DB Robenson Alexis has transferred to URI and will be eligible right away.
The former West Boca Raton High school standout will have three years left to play for the Rams and will participate in sping practice this semester.
Alexis will be reunited with former RU coach and current Rams Head coach, Darren Rizzi, who recruited him out of Florida.
Robenson, who was switched to DB this season, will return to catching passes from his familiar QB Chris Paul-Etienne, who also transferred to URI this semester.
Alexis redshirted in 2007 and was used on the scout team for RU in 08.
