Top New Jersey high school prospect opts to join Pirates

MSG.com has learned Paterson Catholic standout Fuquan Edwin has selected Seton Hall University over Providence College as his future home.
Edwin gave Seton Hall head coach Bobby Gonzalez a verbal commitment on Thursday after visiting the South Orange campus.
One of the top New Jersey basketball players, the 6-foot-6, 190-pound junior forward is considered a slasher who can finish strong on the break.
Edwin, who thus far has scored over 1,000 points in his Paterson Catholic, averaged 16 points and seven rebounds as a Junior.
