All signs indicate that Rick DiPietro is gone for the season. You can bet that the Isles' high command is thankful it never dealt either Dwayne Roloson nor Marty Biron at the deadline. It would take one full, healthy season between the pipes for DP to convince Isles' bosses he can be relied upon as a Number One for which he was originally projected. Luckily, the 40-year-old Roloson– who’s 12 years older than DP – shows no signs of slipping.
