The Rangers closed the regular season on a high note, as they flew past the Flyers, 4-3, Sunday afternoon in Philly.
New York couldn't avoid the penalty box all night against Chicago, often finding themselves two men down on the ice, but a stellar performance by Henrik Lundqvist and an overtime power play goal by Chris Drury led the Rangers to a 3-2 win.
Henrik Lundqvist played solid for the second straight game and the Rangers withstood a late surge by the Isles to pull out a 2-1 win at the Coliseum Tuesday night.
Henrik Lundqvist recorded his second shutout of the season - and his second of the week - as the Rangers defeated the Senators, 2-0, Saturday night in Ottawa.
Despite a strong effort, the Rangers came up just short in Buffalo, falling to the Sabres, 2-1 in a Shootout.
The Rangers and Canadiens were tied heading into the third, but Montreal bagged four goals in the final period to hand the Blueshirts a 6-3 loss at The Garden Wednesday night.
Henrik Lundqvist stopped 27 shots for his first shutout of the season as the Rangers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-0 at The Garden.
Petr Prucha continued wielding a hot stick, scoring his second goal in as many games, but in the end, Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals outplayed the Rangers on special teams, leading Washington to a 2-1 win.
The Devils jumped out to a quick two-goal lead, and the Rangers couldn't find a way to climb back into the game as Jersey topped the Blueshirts 4-2 Saturday at The Garden.
