Anyone who has been in New York in the preceding weeks has probably noticed the several modified Statue of Liberty designs, each inspired by a different Major League Baseball team for the recently-completed extra-innings classic of an All-Star game.

Now that the game is finally over after 15 innings, each of these statues is up for auction through MLB. Each team is represented by an 8.5-foot tall statue and bidding for each one starts at $5,000. Bidding is up on Friday July 18th, so you'll want to act quickly.

While most of the statues seemed to be arbitrarily scattered around the city, we loved how the San Diego Padres statue is located right outside the Petco in Union Square.

We didn't think much of it until we realized that the Padres play at Petco Park. Genius!
