With the Water Club already having begun Atlantic City's transition from East Coast gaming mecca to gorgeous non-gaming resort, the fall/winter season will see the next stage of that shift.

With the impressive Water Club already leading the way, the new Atlantic City really gets things going with the introduction of the new Chelsea Hotel. While all the gaming properties in town are undergoing a much-needed facelift, the Chelsea brings a welcome breath of fresh air into town, thanks mostly to an easy-going, high-end, and non-gaming backdrop featuring 20 pristine stories overseeing the only full-beach service in town.

A state-of-the-art fitness center and saltwater-themed spa make for a truly serene getaway that, let's face it, we all could use right about now. The spacious Chelsea Luxe suites are already open and the more social, group-friendly Chelsea Lite rooms open their doors this Fall. Altogether, it makes for a completely relaxing escape that Atlantic City started getting away from several years ago. And if you do need to find some gaming tables, you won't have to look far. After all, you're in Atlantic City, although it's turning into a very different (dare we say, cathartic) place.
