Breakfast Bites: Siren's Free, But You Need A Buck To Get To Boston

What can you say about Tuesday? It beats Monday? It can't hold a candle to Friday? It's a good day to watch a mouse be cute. Yes, that one. Check out a little bit of NYC news to start your day, then enjoy the mouse.
- Hey, Brooklyn's Siren Festival isn't afraid to compete with Chicago's Pitchfork Fest and Denver's Mile High Music Festival. The Coney Island show (lineup TBA) is going to be on July 19 (thanks, Brooklyn Vegan!) whether you like it or not.
- Has your local deli taken to posting apologetic signs about price increases? New York magazine's Intelligencer has a rundown of what some NYC favorites — including matzo ball soup and pizza — are going to set you back in our current financial times.
- Gridskipper has posted a guide to the "semi-private" (a.k.a. no-sign-on-the-door) clubs that we are afraid to attempt to visit. (The Monitor has been strictly signs-only since The Stinger closed.) If you try your luck at one of these not-so-secret spots, let us know how it goes.
- MegaBus.com and BoltBus both claim to get you from NYC to Boston for as little as a buck. Now all we need is a reason to go to Boston.
- OK, so Gothamist posted this mouse-in-Macy's-flowers clip last week, but we can't stop watching it. Mice are so cute when they aren't in your house.
