We're on a mission to post one best-of-2008 list each day in December. That's 31 lists, reviewing all of the greatest, worst and most memorable entertainment moments of the year. Up first, the most adorable celebrity dogs.

Where did Rihanna find such a cute DJ? Who is the most beautiful blonde, Jessica Simpson or Daisy? Is any living, breathing creature as delightful as Blake Lively's puppy Penny? Check the list and share your own celebrity dog picks!

1.	Blake Lively and Penny: We've seen photos of the "Gossip Girl" star and her pup walking the very same streets we travel every day, but we still can't believe something that cute can be real.
2.	Katherine Heigl and Weezer (or is that Stella, Romeo, Maggie, Anderson or Piper?): She's not fond of certain writers, but this "Grey's Anatomy" star does love dogs. We aren't sure who's who in the big furry family - but we are sure that this doggie is cute.
3.	Bernadette Peters and Kramer: Kramer is a one-eyed rescue and the super adorable face of the stage diva's work with the animal-adoption campaign Broadway Barks.
4.	Natalie Portman and Charlie: Isn't Charlie a cute little New York pup? In this shot he's getting to know a slightly bigger dog - who is about to christen Portman's boot.
5.	Rihanna and DJ Oliver: Look out, Rihanna ... I think DJ Oliver is smiling at me. Well, I know I'm smiling at him.
6.	Famke Janssen and Licorice: Famke's Boston Terrier isn't just her pet - he's her co-star! He also really knows how to work a sweater on those cold NYC days.
7.	Susan Sarandon and Penny: We've read that the actress brings her dog along on movie sets - and also to "Live With Regis & Kelly" shoots, apparently. So photogenic!
8.	Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz and Hemingway: The couple recently added two new babies to the family (a puppy named Rigby and a boy named Bronx Mowgli) but nothing is cuter than a bulldog in a tuxedo.
9.	Jessica Simpson and Daisy: In this shot from earlier this year, Daisy is NYC apartment hunting with Ms. Simpson. Hey, Jessica. I have some errands to run. Can Daisy help me too?
10.	Gisele Bündchen and Vida: She's one of the world's most beautiful women, so why can't we take our eyes off of the dog?
Honorable Mention:	"Gossip Girl" 's Taylor Momsen and a ball of fluff: The Monitor doesn't know this dog's name, and we can't even see its face in this pic, but we know we're in love.
