Alex Iglesias brought the FanCam to the WaMu Theater at MSG on Wednesday for The 7th Annual Jammy Awards and got the answers to these questions while rubbing elbows with the jam scene's greatest asset: music lovers.
Were you at the big show? Which performances were unforgettable? Did you expect Phish to get together for one last jam? Tell us about it!

New Yorkers of the Week: Bees! Not only are they exceedingly photogenic, they are also taking over Learning Annex boxes. (It was probably a little scary to catch this scene on 75th and 2nd in person, but it looks pretty awesome on camera).
Various commitments have been getting in the way of our "One Life to Live" viewing (a shame, really, as we should support soaps still shot in NYC). Good thing Videogum is there to remind us what we're missing in Llanview, namely Snoop Dogg.
Playing to a full house at Madison Square Garden is pretty exciting for any band (come on, that's a whole lot of people listening to your music) but it is especially a thrill for Jersey boys My Chemical Romance.
Find out why the band says that playing The Garden is their version of playing the Super Bowl ... and get a peek at what to expect at Friday night's big show.

Papoose's video for "Ambulance," a dis track targeting a rival artist, features a truck from the Bed-Stuy Volunteer Ambulance Corp. But founder Rocky Robinson tells the Daily News that his organization was duped into the video. "His people told us the video would be about the neighborhood and how we respond to save lives."
Warning: Photos from the Tribeca Film Festival's "Thriller" Zombie Disco might make you really wish you were there.
Hey, remember that time Whitney Houston was on "Silver Spoons," and she sang in the nightclub to Dexter, except she changed the words to "Saving All My Love for You" to make it more family friendly? We do.
Sure, you see them on Letterman, Leno, Kimmel, "Idol" and "SNL," but once in a while, musicians will put on a show where you least expect them. In honor of TV Week and Concerts day, we present the Top 10 Unconventional Musical Guest Appearances.
3. The Who on "The Simpsons" (Sorry, no video. Add to the list.)

Did the Flaming Lips on "90210" blow your mind back in the day? Did you realize that "iCarly" was following a long tradition of bands on sitcoms? What's your favorite musical TV moment? Let us know.
Every time The Garden announces an addition to the concert lineup I gear up. How so, you may ask? I gear up with my iTunes. Let me put it this way — if a civilization from a galaxy far, far away were ever to find my iTunes library many years from now, they would not be able to tell my age, gender, cultural background or whether I was even a member of the human race.
In honor of my iTuning conquest, and a countdown to the Jay-Z/Mary J. Blige shows coming up in May, here is what I've decided are a MUST FIVE on the list. (Sorry, Mary J. but I'm all about the J — the Jay-Z).

Sounds like a great night. Were you there? Share your stories right here!
Never in the history of the concert FanCam have we experienced so much devotion, enthusiasm and good ol' love for one man. Way back in January we ran into these citizens of Mr. Brown's empire and realized there just wasn't enough room for everyone to make the cut.
Well, my oh my... Based on the responses from people who weren't even at the show, if I ever had the chance to be one man for a day, do you know who it would be? It would be Chris Brown. In honor of his dancing majesty and his fans (the greatest FanCamatics to date), I present the Top Five Greatest Chris Brown Fan Comments, Ever.

Think you can make the next list of Fan Faves? Tell us why!
Spend one day away from the computer and look what happens: Brooklyn Vegan gives us the goods on a whole mess of free summer music, including South Street Seaport's concert series (ranging from A Place To Bury Strangers to Mary Weiss of the Shangri-Las), Sonic Youth and the reunited Feelies at Battery Park and Celebrate Brooklyn at Prospect Park (Isaac Hayes, Cold War Kids, Beth Orton and Chubb Rock).
It was supposed to begin last week, but don't expect to see calorie counts on all NYC menus soon as a restaurant industry lawsuit — First Amendment rights? Really? — has it in a holding pattern.
Our tireless fascination with the stroller by-laws of many a Park Slope business led us to this interesting Gowanus Lounge post: Welcome to 'Snice, where strollers are OK, but your computer is unwelcome on weekends.
B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, Aerosmith, Mos Def ... these artists and many more took the stage at Radio City Music Hall on February 7, 2003, to play tribute to the blues. This once-in-a-lifetime benefit concert was captured on film by director Antoine Fuqua and executive producer Martin Scorsese in "Lightning in a Bottle," the first film featured in the "MSG at the Movies" series.
The series will air a different movie or documentary every other Monday at 7:30p.m. throughout the summer. "Lightning in a Bottle" will be followed by the Brooklyn-set boxing film "Girl Fight" and the Harlem Globetrotters classic "Go Man Go."
Thanks to Bob Weir and RatDog's upcoming three-night run at the Beacon Theater, May's Jammy Awards and the fun of last week's Clown Name Generator,The Monitor has been thinking a lot about what we'd name our jam band (you know, if we had a jam band).
Rum and Monkey's Jam Band Name Generator came up with Rare Noodle Odyssey, which is just perfect, but it doesn't quite make our list of the Top 10 Most Amazing Jam Band Names:
Jonas Brothers fans are serious about representing their devotion to the band — creating hundredsofamazingfansites and sporting some of the best accessories on the market.
Sure, there are the calendars, posters and (really quite nice) hoodies. But what band doesn't offer those?
The Monitor took a look at the JB merch over at their store site and left impressed by the options. When the Jonas Brothers tour arrives at The Garden on August 10, we expect to see thousands of really excited fans ... and a whole lot of really exciting gear.
Check out our five favorite Jonas Brothers products — and why we've put 'em on our conceptual shopping list:
What can you say about Tuesday? It beats Monday? It can't hold a candle to Friday? It's a good day to watch a mouse be cute. Yes, that one. Check out a little bit of NYC news to start your day, then enjoy the mouse.
Has your local deli taken to posting apologetic signs about price increases? New York magazine's Intelligencer has a rundown of what some NYC favorites — including matzo ball soup and pizza — are going to set you back in our current financial times.
Gridskipper has posted a guide to the "semi-private" (a.k.a. no-sign-on-the-door) clubs that we are afraid to attempt to visit. (The Monitor has been strictly signs-only since The Stinger closed.) If you try your luck at one of these not-so-secret spots, let us know how it goes.
Aretha Franklin reigned over Radio City Music Hall for two nights this weekend. Were you there? Want to relive the magic? Or did you miss it and want to see what went down? See photos of the diva on stage right here.
In the days leading up to St. Patrick's Day, The Monitor will be honoring pop culture's
most venerable Irish figures with Patron Saints Week.
I love Michael Flatley -- not, like, love him, but he's the epitome of male machismo from a long time ago (let's say the '80s). So how can I not love his ability to employ gay men alongside some of the sexiest female dancers in step-dancing history? Which leaves him as the sole, shirtless leader of his Irish dancing stage phenomenon -- Lord of The Dance.
You would think his amazing powers to captivate audiences of all ages (my drunk roomies and I back in college would actually watch LOTD just to watch these girls and master the company front arm fold) could make him the Patron Saint of Young People (there are already 11 of them). Or maybe it's his ability to out-step, out-chest-wax and out-muscle any dance opponent on stage that could qualify him as the Patron Saint of Invincibility (Saint Drausinus) or Dance (Saint Vitus). Could he be the master of women everywhere, making him the Saint of Women and knocking Mary Magdalene off the pedestal?
No, he is none of those. He is more, baby! The Monitor officially dubs Michael Flatley, "Lord of the Dance " king, the Patron Saint of Irish Step Dance Performance.
At the end of the day, wouldn't you want to trade places for ... an hour?
Now if you really want to understand what Coheed and Cambria are all about, you're going to have to dive into "The Amory Wars," singer/guitarist/mastermind Claudio Sanchez's graphic novel series explaining the origin of the band's name (they are a couple) and the story played out in the music (something about their children having the power to destroy the universe? — seriously, you'll have to do the reading yourself ... Or watch this for a hint):
But you don't have to dig too deep to appreciate the band's way with words. Here's a list of our top 10 favorite Coheed song titles:
